Quintro HealthCare relies on the warranties and guarantees provided by the suppliers of the products to Quintro HealthCare. These warranties and guarantees may contain certain requirements that Quintro HealthCare will be bound by in considering whether a product is considered faulty. Quintro HealthCare will rely on these requirements so far as they are allowed for by law.
In general terms, unless otherwise determined by the supplier of the product to Quintro HealthCare, most products will have a 12 month warranty from date of purchase. Valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. The warranty covers manufacturing faults but does not cover change of mind or damage, fault or failure due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
Any unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications, or any attempt to open or dismantle the product will render the warranty void. The defective product, together with valid proof of purchase, should be returned to the place of purchase or shipped directly to Quintro HealthCare or, if requested, the supplier to Quintro HealthCare. If shipped directly to Quintro HealthCare or the supplier to Quintro HealthCare, you must prepay the shipping and handling charges.
Quintro HealthCare or the supplier to Quintro HealthCare will determine at no cost to you the cause of the fault (if any) within a reasonable time frame. Any repaired or replaced product, original product determined to be not faulty, or refund (if a major failure is determined) will be sent to the place of purchase you returned the product to for collection, or shipped to you freight prepaid if you shipped the product directly to Quintro HealthCare or the supplier to Quintro HealthCare.
The products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under
the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a
major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if the
product fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a
major failure. A product presented for repair may be replaced by a refurbished
product of the same type rather than being repaired.
