Collection: Stander

Stander is a family-owned American company that has been designing home mobility and safety products since 1998. It was founded in Logan, Utah by Jan Miller, whose 90-year-old grandmother, Essie, wanted to keep living at home. At the time, the mobility aids available were limited and looked clinical, so Jan and her husband designed their own. Those first products helped Essie stay safe and independent in her own home, and they became the foundation of the brand.

Today Stander's range covers almost every room in the house: bed rails, standing aids, bathroom safety, walking aids, tray tables, car safety and everyday living aids. Alongside its core Stander products, the company's family of brands includes the Wonder range, Able Life and Signature Life, each designed with the same focus on quality and ease of use. Every product is built around the brand's guiding idea, Be Independent: practical, well-made designs that help older people, people with disability, and their carers get on with daily life with confidence.
